The Story - Medieval England, AD 500: With King Arthur newly crowned, England is plagued by instability and internal conflict. Rival barons and powerful landowners fight for control, while some knights strive to maintain peace and protect their people. Others, however, are driven by ambition and conquest, seeking to overthrow Arthur and claim the throne for themselves. After the death of your father, you have inherited his castle, lands and army. His dying wish was that you would protect the people entrusted to your care and uphold the honour and integrity of his name. Seeking peace, you have negotiated with the neighbouring knights, hoping to forge alliances that would bring security and unity to the region. But they have mistaken your father’s death for a sign of weakness. Seeing you as young and vulnerable, they have raised their armies and marched against you. Now you must defend your people, your lands and your father’s honour. Face these rival knights in battle, defeat those who threaten your realm, and restore peace and security to your people. Be courageous. Be wise. Be valiant. Your father’s legacy—and the future of your people—rests in your hands.
About the game - Kings Keep is a strategic card and deck building game where players battle for control of each other’s land.
Each player has limited knowledge of your opponent’s cards, you must judge when to attack, defend or bluff to make your forces appear stronger than they are or lead your opponent into a trap.
You win by capturing all of your opponent’s land cards or subduing them into surrender.
